Chrys assists and works with clients to navigate them through the maze and uncertainty of family issues and breakdown.

Chrys recognises that family disputes, by their nature can be distressing and stressful and understands how traumatic a relationship breakdown or a conflict concerning children can be. She sees her role as not only advising on the Law, but also assisting clients through such times in a supportive and effective manner.

The approach used by the Family Department is family-focused, reducing the impact on the family as much as possible and being proactive in resolving matters quickly, efficiently and in a cost effective manner.

Chrys is accredited by an organisation called "Resolution" as a Specialist Family Lawyer with particular emphasis on Financial Provision and Children Law work. "Resolution - first for family law" is committed to the highest standards in family work. The highly regarded Accreditation Scheme is only open to experienced family lawyers. Details of the organisation Resolution can be found on www.resolution.org.uk.

Chrys joined Thomson & Bancks in 1989. She started her Legal Executive training in 1992 and became a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in June 1998. Chrys is experienced in all aspects of Family Law including relationship breakdown, divorce, financial matters, children and cases involving domestic violence.
