Overview

Have you been involved in:

  • A road accident?
  • An accident at work?
  • A tripping accident?
  • An accident at home?

More than 3 million people are injured in accidents in the UK every year. As well as suffering from your injuries, you may have lost earnings by having to take time off work. In many cases, someone else or something else is to blame even though you might not realise it at the time.

Have you thought about making a claim?

Many people don't but, if you have been injured and someone else is to blame, you may be entitled to compensation for your injuries and for any loss of earnings or other expenses incurred.

To help people who have been injured in an accident decide whether to make a claim, we offer a free consultation with a solicitor specialising in injury claims. You can use this free consultation to find out whether you have a good case, how to go about claiming, and how much you might claim. There is no obligation to take the matter further if you decide not to.

In some cases we may be able to offer to handle the claim on a "No Win, No Fee" basis. More information about this can be provided at the first consultation or for an initial opinion on your claim by E-Mail please read our Client Care Information and Terms of Engagement, then complete our Accident Advice Questionnaire.

Even if you believe that no-one was to blame, it is still worth talking to a specialist solicitor. Many people who initially believed that their accident was their own fault have later gone on to make a successful claim.

Why you may not have thought about making a claim

There may be a number of possible reasons:

  • You may be worried about the costs involved. Yet there are many ways in which costs can be covered for you. Legal Aid may be available to some children and vulnerable people, (subject to eligibility) and advice about this will be given where appropriate. In some circumstances "No Win No Fee" arrangements can be offered. We will be happy to explain.
  • You may be wary of going to court. Or you may feel you don't know enough about the legal process. Yet many successful cases are settled before anyone has to go to court.
  • You may believe that the person you think is to blame would not be able to afford to pay compensation. But often people and organisations are covered by insurance for this sort of thing.
