The charges we make depend on the nature of the work that we undertake, but in every case those charges are made up of three main elements.

  • First, there is our fee charged for the work that we do. For certain work, this may be a fixed price. Otherwise the charge is calculated according to a number of factors including, the amount of time that we have to spend dealing with a matter, the complexity and urgency of the matter and the value of any property involved.
  • Secondly there are other items called "disbursements" which we have to pay during the conduct of a matter. These disbursements include court fees, search fees, experts fees, travelling expenses, stamp duty, registration fees and so on.
  • Thirdly, VAT is charged on our fees and relevant disbursements at the current rate.
