At Thomson & Bancks, we will provide you with excellent service at a competitive price. All of our solicitors hold current Practising Certificates and are covered by professional indemnity insurance. Our accounts are audited annually by qualified accountants, with specific attention to ensuring we comply with the Solicitors' Accounts Rules.
Once we receive your instructions, we will usually write to confirm them. We will let you know who will be dealing with the matter and who you should contact if that person is not available for any reason. We will give you an estimate of our charges or an indication of how they will be calculated. We will also explain our complaints procedure so that you know what to do if you are not happy with our service.
While we are dealing with any matter for you, we will provide you with copies of important correspondence. We will aim to return telephone calls on a ‘same day’ basis and deal with correspondence within 48 hours of receipt.
Once we have finished our work for you, we will write to you to confirm it and to advise you about storing your files and documents. You will then be sent a ‘Client Care Questionnaire’ so that you can let us know what you thought of our service and where you think it could be improved.
We will give you the best information possible about the likely overall cost of a matter both at the outset of your instructions to us and, when appropriate, as the matter progresses.
